Hi, I’m Johan du Toit. I teach English in Kyiv and build learning tools that help students think clearly, speak bravely, and act kindly. For three decades my family has been involved in education and humanitarian work in Ukraine.
Our Purpose
The JVDT Learning Hub is an educational method and resource hub founded by Johan du Toit in Kyiv. Our work helps any learning community do four things well: connect new ideas to prior knowledge (Association), examine them with care (Analysis), get to essentials (Root), and place learning where it matters in time, place, audience, and purpose (Context). We pair these Keys with a simple journey from Information to Integration to Comprehension to the Field of Application, guided by two formulas: Information + Integration = Knowledge, and Knowledge + Practice = Wisdom. Rooted in three decades of education, business intelligence, and humanitarian work on four continents, the Hub publishes research-to-practice posts, printable templates, bilingual packs, and training for teams. The aim is clear: knowledge that sticks, skills that serve, and learning shaped by love, respect, and happiness.
